Chapter Six

“So, you left?”

Rocky cleared her throat on the other end of the phone. Pia stood in the kitchen as she watched Drew snap photos of Haven in one of her outfits.

“I had to Pia. I can’t deal with my emotions for him. It’s scary loving someone that much. I’m not ready yet,” Rocky said whispering the last part as if Bucks could hear her. She sniffed as she started to speak again. “I know he’s pissed but I need to figure some things out. I’ll be back soon and I’m going to decide what the fuck I’m doing. It’s just I was in bed with him, he had just fucked the life out of me and as I felt his cum sliding down my leg I started crying, Pia. I thought about how hurt I was when I first left him. How I felt like I would die without him and it scared me. I was too wrapped up in him. Bucks is a damn force. I lose all train of thought around him. I don’t know what to do,” she admitted.

Pia rolled her eyes. She loved Rocky but she didn’t agree with how she was moving with Bucks.

“But Rocky you’ve been gone for a long time now. Look at Bucks, look at how good a man he is. He won't be this way forever. Keep fucking playing and you’ll lose him. It’s just like you’re playing games now,” she replied.

Rocky sighed.

“I didn’t say shit when you were running to Arizona to be away from Ahmad,” she said defensively.

Pia smiled.

“He’d cheated on me, Rocky. That’s different and me playing all those games afterward led to me getting assaulted. This back and forth shit is for the birds. Look I’m not mad I just feel like your gonna lose him.”

Rocky smacked her lips.

“I love him, Pia. I never said that I didn’t.”

Pia nodded. She watched Bucks walk by with Ahmad and the scowl he wore on his face made her feel sorry for him.

“Then you better fucking start acting like it.”
